Apple, Inc. is seeking an Embedded CPU Performance Engineer to help define CPUs for embedded applications across iPhone, iPad, Mac and other products. You will drive performance and power efficiency and collaborate with CPU designers to evaluate architectural ideas.

Join a tight-knit team focused on microarchitecture, ISA definition, performance/power modeling, and workload analysis. You will model and correlate RTL with a CPU performance simulator to meet targets and drive data-driven decisions.

Formación

• Experience in CPU and SOC architecture and micro-architecture.
• Experience with performance simulation environments.
• Proficiency in C/C++ (object-oriented).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python.

Responsabilidades

• Define CPUs designed for embedded applications across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other Apple products.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in varied embedded use cases.
• Model solutions balancing performance, power efficiency, and area.
• Correlate RTL with CPU performance simulator to ensure targets are met and models are accurate.
• Analyze workloads across product lines to guide data-driven decisions.
