Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Distribution Engineer/Designer in Columbus, OH for a contract position. You will support a major power utility client by performing power distribution design using DDS, with an initial focus on design work and potential to take on quality control duties later.

Join a growing team in a hybrid work environment. You will use Crews (a SAP variant) to complete work orders, collaborate with colleagues on utility energy projects, and may lead design reviews and client interactions

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years using DDS for power distribution design.
• Experience supporting FirstEnergy or subsidiaries.
• Ability to perform quality control on designs before submission.

Responsibilities

• Perform power distribution design work using DDS.
• Utilize Crews, a version of SAP, to complete work orders.
• Conduct quality control checks on designs before submission to the client
• Collaborate with a team to support utility energy projects.
• Potentially lead design reviews and client interactions as you gain experience.
