Job summary

HDR is seeking a Distribution Coordinator/EIT in Albuquerque, NM. This role supports power-related design options, field analyses, and deliverables for land acquisition, permitting, and construction within ourTransmission/Distribution Eng team.

You will work with Project Engineers, other EITs, Designers, or BIM Specialists on varied projects, performing analyses and routine engineering tasks while pursuing EIT certification and career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop power-related design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of project deliverables (e.g., engineering drawing packages, cost estimates, and project specifications).
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on small projects or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers, other EITs, Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed.
• Perform field work, analysis, calculations, and design for overhead and underground system improvement projects.
• Prepare deliverables for client use in land acquisition, permitting, and construction.
