Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years in semiconductor device engineering, characterization, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of power semiconductor device physics and operation.
• Experience analyzing manufacturing and characterization datasets.
• Ability to evaluate excursions via FMEA and disposition decisions.
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and electrical performance.
• Experience with electrical characterization equipment and parametric measurements.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical characterization for trench MOSFET, IGBT, and related technologies.
• Analyze parametric, probe, final test, reliability, and failure data to identify trends.
• Provide disposition recommendations for lot holds, deviations, and outliers.
• Serve as engineering resource for rapid investigation of production issues.
• Assess impact of process changes on device performance and reliability.
• Develop plans to support qualification, tech transfers, and improvements.
• Correlate wafer sort, package test, and reliability data to root causes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions.
• Perform statistical analysis on large datasets to identify yield detractors.
• Monitor key device parameters and communicate findings to management.
• Support reliability investigations and customer quality issues as needed.
• Drive automated data analysis and characterization methodologies.
