Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Director of Construction to lead Power Delivery construction programs across the Southeast from its Atlanta operations. The role will drive safety, schedule, cost performance and client satisfaction while building high-performing teams of Project Executives, Managers and field leaders.

You will partner with engineering, procurement and controls, oversee multiple projects, manage risk and pursue major opportunities with utilities, EPC partners, and subcontractors to

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction leadership in power/utility infrastructure.
• Experience across Transmission, Distribution and Substation projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex EPC programs and large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction operations across Transmission, Distribution and Substation projects.
• Provide executive oversight across multiple major utility programs.
• Manage project performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost and profitability.
• Lead and develop Project Executives, Project Managers, Construction Managers and field leadership.
• Partner with engineering, procurement and project controls teams to ensure successful EPC delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with utilities, contractors, subcontractors and industry partners.
• Support pursuit strategy, estimating, proposals and major project opportunities.
• Review project risks, forecasts, budgets and resource requirements.
• Drive operational improvements and consistent construction processes across the region.
• Support workforce planning and growth of the Southeast Power Delivery team.
