Job summary

HDR New England is seeking a CADD Technician to join our growing Power Delivery team in Bedford, NH. You will create and modify electric substation drawings, distribution layouts and transmission line drawings using CAD software, under supervision.

The ideal candidate has an associate or technical school degree, knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation, and a solid attention to detail. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical school degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify electric substation drawings, distribution drawings and transmission line drawings.
• Prepare drawings, layouts and sketches using CAD software.
• Perform other duties as needed.
