Job summary

Leidos in Orlando, FL is seeking a CAD Drafter II to join our Power Delivery Solutions Division, drafting accurate drawing packages for utility power delivery projects using MicroStation and AutoCAD.

You will work with engineers, designers and drafters, gain NESC expertise, electrical power calculations, and interact with substations and protection/controls disciplines, while enjoying a fast-paced environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting and Design or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years drafting with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Knowledge of drafting principles and procedures.
• Ability to modify drawings from engineer markups with high accuracy.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft Protection & Control, SCADA, and Communications drawings (SLD, Schematics, wiring diagrams).
• Draft Physical Electrical drawings (General Arrangement, Electrical Plans, Elevations, sections).
• Provide cross-office CAD production support and coordinate with Leidos CAD leads.
