Job summary

Leidos is seeking a CAD Drafter II in Orlando, FL to join the Power Delivery Solutions team, drafting accurate drawing packages for utility power delivery projects using MicroStation and AutoCAD. This role offers a fast-paced environment, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for technical and non-technical training and mentorship.

You will complete drafting on protection & control, SCADA, and electrical drawings, coordinate with CAD leads across Leidos offices, and ensure high-quality,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting and Design or equivalent.
• 2+ years of drafting/detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Ability to create drawings from engineer markups with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication within a team.
• Knowledge of drafting principles and vector/raster files.

Responsibilities

• Complete drafting on Protection & Control, SCADA, and Communications drawings.
• Create and modify General Arrangement, Electrical Plans, Elevations, and Wiring Diagrams.
• Produce Physical Electrical drawings including foundations and equipment vendor files.
• Coordinate with CAD leads across offices to balance workload and maintain schedule.
