You will analyze real‑world workloads, apply control theory, and collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams to optimize power/performance. The role requires experience in control theory, multi-timescale handling, and embedded environments, with strong coding skills in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++,

Qualifications

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with control system design: classical/modern control, system identification, estimation, or multi-timescale constraint handling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evolve power control algorithms across multiple product features and platforms.
• Independently investigate performance/power data from real-world workloads to identify architecture and algorithm improvements.
• Apply and extend control theory and estimation techniques to novel system problems.
• Lead cross-functional characterization of power/performance profiles with systems and software teams.
• Prototype and evaluate data-driven and predictive approaches to power allocation.
• Debug and resolve complex power control issues across simulation, bench, and field environments.
• Mentor junior engineers on control system design and debug practices.
