Job summary

McLeod Software is seeking a Special Projects Specialist to train customers on McLeod IQ and Cloud IQ, focusing on Excel and Power BI reporting. You will work with customers to gather requirements, develop dashboards, and define KPIs while coordinating with IQ analysts for customizations.

The role involves hands-on training, documentation creation, and ongoing customer support to ensure successful data analytics delivery across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of business analytics or customer-facing training.
• Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI for report building and data analytics.
• Experience with SQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting reports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train customers and assist with report building via phone/Web-Ex or on-site visits (remote majority).
• Create reports in Power BI and Excel; define KPIs with customers.
• Document functional specs and SOWs with customers and McLeod IQ analysts/developers.
• Provide first level support for IQ issues when not training.
• Develop training documentation and videos; contribute to templates repository.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure a positive customer experience and project timelines.
