Job summary

McLeod Software is seeking a Special Projects Specialist to train clients on McLeod IQ and Cloud IQ, with a focus on Power BI and Excel reporting. You will analyze customer needs, build dashboards, and document specifications with the IQ team.

This role emphasizes remote-friendly training and on-site visits as needed. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with analytics/training experience, Power BI proficiency, SQL knowledge, and familiarity with accounting reports; transportation industry

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of business analytics or customer-facing training/support.
Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI for reports and analytics.
Experience working with SQL.
Knowledge of accounting statements and reports is a plus.
Transportation industry experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge of McLeod LoadMaster and PowerBroker is a plus.

Responsibilities

Train customers and assist with report building via phone, Web-Ex, or on-site visits.
Create reports in Power BI and Excel based on customer needs.
Define reporting requirements and KPIs with customers.
Document functional specs for custom IQ solutions and SOWs.
Provide first-level support for IQ issues during non-training periods.
Collaborate with IQ analysts/developers on product improvements.
Develop training materials and videos; maintain documentation templates.
