Job summary

Mohegan Sun CT is seeking a Data Visualization Administrator to manage the enterprise Power BI environment, ensure governance, security, and performance, and partner with business and technical teams to deliver dashboards and analytics.

You will use SQL, Python, and ETL concepts to troubleshoot data issues, automate admin tasks, and support data integration across the organization, while promoting platform standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field.
• Five years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including administration and governance.
• Two years of Python for automation, data processing, or scripting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and query troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts and data integration patterns.
• Experience with Snowflake and Informatica is an asset.
• Power BI administration certification is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Power BI tenants, workspaces, gateways, and deployment pipelines.
• Enforce security, governance, and compliance, including RBAC, row-level security, and data lineage.
• Provide advanced technical support for dashboards, datasets, and data refreshes; troubleshoot performance and data-quality issues.
• Support data integration and ETL activities using SQL and related tools.
• Develop Python scripts to automate administration, monitoring, and metadata collection.
• Promote standards for workspace design, dataset ownership, and lifecycle management; support release management and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and enable self-service analytics; guide best practices for data usage.
