Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on Power BI administration, governance, workspace management, gateways, refresh operations, semantic models, and production support.
• Two years of Python for automation, data processing, integration, or administrative scripting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and query troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, transformation logic, data quality, and source-to-target data flows.
• Experience supporting enterprise BI/analytics environments; Snowflake and Informatica are assets.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Power BI tenants, workspaces, capacities, gateways, dataflows, semantic models, and deployment pipelines.
• Monitor platform health, refresh schedules, usage, performance, and capacity for reliability and scalability.
• Implement role-based access, workspace standards, row-level security, sensitivity labels, and data governance practices.
• Provide advanced technical support for dashboards, reports, data refreshes, gateways, and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot performance, access, and data-quality issues; coordinate with teams and SMEs.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate platform administration and monitoring.
• Support data integration across source systems and Power BI using SQL and ETL techniques.
