Job summary

Optomi is seeking a Power BI Report Migration Developer to convert a large portfolio of Sigma and SSRS reports into modern Power BI dashboards and paginated reports. You will build and optimize data models using Snowflake and MSSQL, and validate outputs against legacy reports.

This remote role offers flexible hours aligned with Eastern Time and works within Jira and GitHub workflows to deliver high-quality analytics solutions for enterprise needs.

Qualifications

The Power BI Report Migration Developer is responsible for converting and modernizing a large portfolio of enterprise reports from Sigma and SSRS into Power BI. The role focuses on accurately reproducing legacy report outputs while improving underlying data models, query performance, and report usability. The developer will work across Snowflake and MSSQL data sources, creating and consuming data models, and ensuring parity with legacy reports through structured validation processes. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role operating within a Jira-based workflow and GitHub source-controlled environment.
