Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience as a Power BI developer with a strong portfolio of reports.
• Experience with structured data from Tabular Models, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics as data sources.
• Proficiency in writing complex DAX expressions and calculations for advanced reporting.
• Familiarity with Power BI security mechanisms and data governance practices.
• Strong data modeling, transformation, and optimization skills in Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and deploys advanced Power BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics.
• Uses DAX to create complex calculations, measures, and KPIs for insights.
• Implements row-level security to protect data confidentiality.
• Collaborates with data engineering to optimize data models for performance and UX.
• Manages Fabric capacity and monitors usage for efficient rendering.
• Participates in data governance and change control to maintain data accuracy.
• Performs data analysis, distills insights, and crafts data-driven narratives for storytelling.
• Creates interactive visuals to convey complex information clearly and presents findings to executives.
• Troubleshoots report performance and data quality issues.
