Qualifications

Role Overview

We are looking for motivated recent graduates and early-career professionals with 0–2 years of experience to join our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate should have an interest in data visualization, business reporting, data analysis, and transforming raw data into meaningful business insights.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in Microsoft Power BI, data modeling, dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, and report automation. Candidates will work with different data sources to create interactive dashboards and reports that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.

Gather business requirements and translate them into meaningful reports and visualizations.

Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, including Excel, SQL databases, SharePoint, and other business applications.

Clean, transform, and prepare datasets using Power Query.

Create data models, relationships, calculated columns, and measures for reporting purposes.

Write basic to intermediate DAX formulas to calculate business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Design user-friendly dashboards with charts, graphs, tables, filters, slicers, and drill-through features.

Develop reports to track business performance, operational metrics, and organizational KPIs.

Perform data validation and troubleshoot inconsistencies to ensure reporting accuracy.

Optimize Power BI reports and data models for improved performance.

Assist in developing scheduled data refreshes and maintaining report reliability.

Publish and manage reports and dashboards in the Power BI Service.

Support workspace management, report sharing, and role-based access permissions.

Implement row-level security (RLS) to ensure users access appropriate data.

Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

Prepare documentation for dashboards, data models, calculations, and reporting processes.

Assist in automating repetitive reporting tasks and improving existing reporting workflows.

Participate in team meetings, requirement discussions, and Agile project activities as required.

Continuously learn Power BI features, data visualization techniques, and business intelligence best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.

Basic understanding of data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence concepts.

Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Basic knowledge of Power Query and data transformation techniques.

Understanding of data modeling, table relationships, and data visualization principles.
