Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Intermediate Power BI experience including DAX, data modeling, semantic models, report design and row/column-level security.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new business systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of polished Power BI dashboards, including report layout and semantic models.
• Validate dashboards and datasets against source systems and trusted reporting sources.
• Trace data from source systems through SQL, Fabric, and Power BI reports to validate accuracy.
• Research and understand existing datasets and reporting logic.
• Design and maintain curated datasets and semantic models to support scalable analytics.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver vetted dashboards.
• Document dataset definitions, business rules, and data lineage.
• Support cross-functional reporting needs within a Business Systems team.
