Responsibilities

Power BI Developer will design and deliver modern, intuitive, and decision-focused analytics experiences that help business users understand performance, identify trends, and take action. This role is responsible for building clean, visually compelling dashboards and analytical products that combine strong data visualization, business narratives, using certified metrics, and natural language chat with data capabilities.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical products
• Create clean, intuitive, and visually compelling dashboard experiences that support business decision-making
• Apply strong data visualization techniques to communicate insights clearly and reduce cognitive load for users
• Translate business questions, KPIs, and decision needs into effective dashboard layouts, visuals, narratives, and analytical flows
• Build Power BI products that combine visual analytics, written narratives, guided insights, and natural language chat with data capabilities
• Partner with semantic layer architects to ensure dashboards are built on certified metrics, governed semantic models, and approved business definitions
• Develop efficient DAX measures, calculations, and data models that support scalable and reliable reporting
• Design dashboard experiences with strong usability, navigation, filtering, drill-through, and executive summary patterns
• Work with business stakeholders to validate insights, refine user experience, and ensure reports answer the right business questions
• Support integration of Power BI dashboards with Microsoft Copilot, Q&A, Databricks Genie, or other conversational analytics capabilities where applicable
• Establish and follow standards for report design, visualization quality, accessibility, performance, and governance

• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
