Job summary

Radiantze Inc is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports. You will work with multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure, and Excel, delivering insights to business stakeholders.

This 100% remote contract role involves implementing RLS, deploying CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing performance to enable data-driven decisions across the organization. The position offers a flexible, fully remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience designing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Create optimized data models, relationships, calculated columns, and measures.
• Write complex DAX formulas and calculations for business reporting.
• Develop and optimize Power Query transformations.
• Connect Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.
• Implement Power BI Service, workspaces, apps, datasets, and scheduled refreshes.
• Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) and appropriate access controls.
• Monitor and improve dashboard and report performance.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data validation, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Implement and maintain Power BI deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes where applicable.
• Document data models, reports, processes, and technical solutions.

Position: Power BI Developer

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions. The candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements.
• Create optimized data models, relationships, calculated columns, and measures.
• Write complex DAX formulas and calculations for business reporting.
• Develop and optimize Power Query (M) transformations.
• Connect Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.
• Implement Power BI Service, workspaces, apps, datasets, and scheduled refreshes.
• Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) and appropriate access controls.
• Monitor and improve dashboard and report performance.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data modeling and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Power BI Service and Power BI Gateway.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI REST APIs and automation.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Microsoft PL-300 / Power BI certification is a plus.
