Job summary

Arkhya Tech. Inc. in McLean, VA is seeking a Power BI Developer to support enterprise reporting across Operations, Clinical, and Finance.

You will translate business requirements into governed, scalable Power BI solutions and enhance existing dashboards within our analytics ecosystem. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards in professional settings.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, and basic query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with DAX, including measures and calculated columns.

Location: McLean, VA 22102 (100% Onsite)

Summary:

Reporting to the VP of Analytics, the Power BI Developer will support enterprise reporting across Operations, Clinical, and Finance domains. This role is responsible for translating business and clinical requirements into governed, scalable Power BI solutions while maintaining and enhancing existing reports within our analytics ecosystem. This position combines strong technical expertise with the ability to partner closely with SMEs, business stakeholders, and data engineering teams in a regulated healthcare environment. This is a hands-on delivery role, not an architecture or people-management position.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 7+ years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards in a professional setting
• Solid working knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, and basic query optimization
• Hands-on experience with DAX, including measures and calculated column
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Experience supporting production BI reports and responding to user issues

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare industry experience (clinical, operational, or financial reporting)
• Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI handling, and data security best practices
