Job summary

Amplytico seeks a Data Analytics Consultant to drive complex data analysis projects for clients, leading Power BI solutions from data modeling to dashboards. You will work onsite at client locations and in our San Francisco office up to 2 days weekly, with hybrid arrangements and governance discipline.

The role demands strong business acumen, technical expertise in Power BI, DAX, and data modeling, plus experience delivering scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI development.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and data modeling.
• Proven track record of successful implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions tailored to specific business requirements.
• Develop complex data models using DAX to solve sophisticated business problems.
• Create intuitive, interactive dashboards that effectively communicate key business insights.
• Implement efficient ETL processes using Power Query for data preparation and transformation.
• Optimize performance of Power BI reports and data models for enterprise-scale solutions.
• Consult with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for existing Power BI implementations.
• Train client teams on Power BI and DAX fundamentals to ensure knowledge transfer.
• Implement data governance and security protocols within Power BI environments.
• Establish reporting frameworks and best practices for sustainable analytics.
• Document technical specifications and create user guides for implemented solutions.
• Stay current with Power BI updates and incorporate new features into client solutions.
