Job summary

Gunvor Group is seeking a BI Data Analyst to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade BI solutions using Power BI and Power Platform. You will translate commodity trading data into actionable dashboards and insights, working closely with traders, risk managers, and IT.

The role requires a strong background in Power BI, SQL, and data modelling, plus familiarity with trading lifecycle data and ETRM systems. You will help govern data and enable self-service analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI core specialization.
• Excellent SQL skills and data modelling understanding.
• Experience with commodity trading data (P&L, risk, settlements) and ETRM systems is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and business analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards for trading and shipping domains.
• Partner with business users, traders, risk managers and IT to translate requirements into BI solutions.
• Implement governance, data quality, and performance optimization for analytics assets.
• Produce automation and AI-assisted analytics using Power Platform components.
