Job summary

Florida Housing Finance Corporation is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer with extensive Power BI expertise to join the Data Management Unit. You will source and integrate diverse datasets, design dashboards, and collaborate across business units to deliver insightful, scalable BI solutions.

Responsibilities include developing advanced DAX measures, managing CI/CD in Azure DevOps, and ensuring data quality and governance while mentoring junior analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (e.g., Programming, Engineering or Data Disciplines)
• 3+ years of data research, analysis, visualization, and data-driven reporting
• 5+ years of SQL, Power BI, requirements gathering, documentation, and data analysis
• Production‑grade Power BI solutions at enterprise scale
• Strong T‑SQL skills with Azure SQL Database or Synapse Analytics
• Proficiency in DAX including complex measures, time intelligence, and model optimization
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines, ideally in Azure DevOps
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong documentation skills
• Enterprise‑level project management and team leadership experience preferred
• Curiosity and ability to learn and explore complex data scenarios
• Ability to work independently and in teams in an open office environment
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and publish Power BI reports and dashboards across the enterprise
• Develop advanced DAX measures and optimize data models for performance
• Manage BI artifacts in Azure DevOps — source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into BI solutions
• Maintain data quality, security, and governance across deliverables
• Mentor junior analysts and promote BI best practices across the team
• Source data, design, build, deploy, and maintain BI solutions
• Develop and execute SQL queries to produce clean datasets
• Review datasets and reports for accuracy and accessibility
• Lead discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and documentation of DMU projects
