Job summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain data-driven BI solutions that transform complex data into actionable dashboards and reports. You will translate business requirements into scalable BI models, leveraging SQL, DAX, Power Query, and best practices in data governance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, BI Developer, Reporting Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Service, Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Develop optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models.
• Build and manage Power BI data models using Power Query and DAX.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, files, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, performance, and security of reports and dashboards.
