Job summary

Accenture in Austin, TX is seeking a data reporting specialist to maintain and enhance a web portal and Power BI dashboards used to manage inbound reports and contractor deliverables. You will serve as first point of contact for end users, resolve inquiries, and provide training to maximize use of the portal and dashboards.

Requirements include at least one year building Power BI reports with DAX, data modeling, and SQL querying; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and ability to travel

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience building reports in Power BI Desktop, including writing and optimizing complex DAX measures and calculated columns for aggregations, time intelligence, and conditional logic.
• At least one year of experience designing and implementing data models in Power BI, including defining table relationships and star/snowflake schema best practices.
• At least one year of experience writing complex SQL queries — multi-table joins, subqueries, CTEs, and aggregations — to extract and transform data from relational databases such as Azure SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); if Associate Degree, minimum 6 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a primary point of contact for end-user questions, conducting research to resolve inquiries, and delivering training to support effective use of the portal and dashboards.
• Analyzing and documenting requirements and design changes to address production incidents and implement minor system enhancements.
• Configuring the portal to manage report submission workflows, including defining report types, submission schedules, and validation rules required of contracted entities.
• Designing and executing test cases to validate fixes and enhancements prior to deployment.
• Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure the system continues to meet operational and compliance monitoring needs.
