Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a hands-on software engineer with deep Power Apps and Dynamics 365 knowledge to design, configure and develop custom Power Platform solutions for clients. You will lead technical delivery, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality, scalable implementations.

Responsibilities include designing end-to-end Power Platform solutions, driving projects from discovery to deployment, and delivering user training with thorough documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013 or newer incl. on-prem and Online.
  • Strong Power Platform and SaaS/PaaS experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Power Platform implementations through all project phases (discovery to deploy).
  • Deliver services and solutions using PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams, and data integrations.
  • Provide hands-on technical design and end-user training; create knowledge transfer docs.

Job Family:SAAS/PAAS/Cloud ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 25%Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:We are looking for a hands-on software engineer with deep knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, including basic Microsoft Dynamics 365 understanding. An expert on Power Apps to design, configure and develop custom solutions in Microsoft Power platform. The candidate will take an active role in supporting and building on the MPP application. The candidate will have excellent presentation, communication, leadership, and client development skills to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups, and/or the board of directors. The candidate should have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed.Responsibilities:Drive Microsoft Power Platform implementations through all project phases including discovery, definition, build, test, and deployIdentify the client's sales, marketing, and customer service requirements through discovery meetingsDelivering services and solutions for clients using Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrationsProvide hands-on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform based solutions satisfying customer requirements.Conduct end-user training and create and maintain knowledge transfer documentationAutomate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate; outputs will include data visualization and low code applicationsDevelop and continue to refine Power Platform implementation standards and toolsPresent tailored demonstrations of the technology solutionResponsible for high quality, bug-free development as per the coding standards in close collaboration and interaction with other members of the development/QA teamParticipate in daily project scrum meetings and provide a daily personal status reportCollaborate with stakeholders and project team members to design and implement the enterprise Microsoft Dynamics solution ensuring high quality, reliableServe as Microsoft Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME), with technical expertise including system architecture, solution design, system configuration, and security managementHelp create design documentation for new solutions and functionsWork with the support team to resolve production support issuesWill be proactive in staying up to date on the latest updates to the Power Platform, as well as future roadmap features announced in Microsoft’s wave plansWhat You Will Need:Must have a minimum of THREE (3) years of professional experienceSelected Candidate must be able to commute onsite to the client as needed depending on locationMust be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.US Citizenship is contractually requiredMust have a Bachelor’s degree (4yr college degree)Hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013 or newer to include both on-premise and SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer to include creating custom workflow solutions, and PowerApps / Power Automate (M365 Suite of Products)Experience in designing complex common data modelsIntermediate to advanced knowledge of relational database conceptsExperience in using OOTB connectors for Power Apps and Power AutomateExperience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage modelKnowledge and experience with writing technical requirements, test scripts and knowledge of software programming languages and technologies.Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environmentExperience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerAppsExperience developing PowerApps modelAbility to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical usersAbility to initiate majority of relevant tasks, specify and plan activities for task accomplishments and notify supervisor of variances. Prior experience working in a non- governmental organization (NGO)Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform technical solutionsWork experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environmentsCore Skills: C#, SQL, .Net, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft DataVerse (CDS), Power AutomateExperience with and a good understanding of the Power Platform CoE and governance componentsWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Experience in “Big 4” or equivalent established consulting firm and/or Microsoft Gold partner highly desiredBA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science or EngineeringExperience with public sector clients preferredExperience with Agile or Hybrid-Agile methodologyThe annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00-$170,000.00.
