Job summary

VDart is seeking a Power Platform Data Specialist to build custom applications in Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven, Power Pages) and develop automated data pipelines with Power Automate from Bellevue/Redmond onsite.

You will integrate with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL and external APIs, implement data modeling, governance, and security best practices, and deliver dashboards with Power BI while exploring AI use cases on Copilot Studio.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL proficiency; write, debug, and optimize complex SQL for analytics.
• Experience building Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
• Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom Power Apps interfaces (Canvas, Model-Driven, Power Pages) and data pipelines.
• Create dashboards and reports; leverage Power BI.
• Integrate Power Apps with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and external APIs.
• Lead end-to-end data capabilities from requirements to deployment.
• Perform data analysis to provide actionable business insights.
• Explore AI use cases with Copilot Studio.

Job description

Location : Bellevue / Redmond, WA (Onsite)

Job Description:

• Build custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven, and Power Pages).
• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate based data pipelines
• Integrate Power Apps with data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and third party APIs.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Recommend best practices for data modeling, security, and governance within the Power Platform.
• Ingest, transform, and model data from multiple source systems with a strong focus on data quality, performance, and scalability.
• Partner with Data engineers to ensure trusted datasets, semantic consistency, and self service readiness.
• Act as a technical owner for data capabilities end to end—from intake, Requirements gathering and design through development of various tools.
• Advanced SQL proficiency (required): ability to write, debug, and optimize complex SQL for analytics use cases.
• Build/maintain dashboards and reporting artifacts; strong with Power BI is a plus
• Develop production-grade SQL queries to extract and transform data for analytics, reporting, and ad-hoc investigations
• Create and maintain curated datasets/views that standardize metrics.
• Perform deep-dive analysis using SQL to answer business questions and provide actionable insights.
• Experience with building AI use cases on Copilot Studio
