Home Power Systems, part of TurnPoint Services, is expanding its residential and commercial generator solutions team in New York. You will build strong relationships, identify opportunities for installations or maintenance, and collaborate with the estimating team and technical experts to deliver customized proposals.

The role focuses on backup power, green energy, and advanced systems. The role requires 3+ years in B2C sales, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2C sales (electric/generator experience a plus)

Role Overview

• We're growing our team and currently seeking a Power Advisor to help deliver peace of mind through dependable backup power solutions. In this role, you’ll develop strong relationships with residential and commercial customers, identifying opportunities to recommend generator installations, replacements, and maintenance agreements. You'll collaborate with our estimating team and technical experts to deliver accurate, customized proposals that meet each client’s unique needs—including solutions for backup power, green energy, and advanced systems.

What You Bring

• Proven experience of 3+ years in B2C Sales - Experience in electric or generators is a plus - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software - Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Report writing and strategic planning skills - Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects - Ability to read and interpret technical documents - Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills - Exceptional time management skills - Multi-tasking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with customer by providing professional presentations, proposals, and design input. - Meet and exceed monthly established targeted revenue goals. - Generate leads through cold calling, networking, lead sources, and referrals. - Build a book of business through developing long-term relationships and customer loyalty. - Maintain all client communication and documentation. - Make daily calls to new prospects and client base to generate leads. - Act as a company representative at sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events to build relationships and increase company brand awareness. - Participate in sales and product training in person, online, and through various content. - Conduct thorough job site measuring, take photos, calculate the cost of the project, lead Sales Team presentations to customers. - Maintain the highest ethical standards consistent with good judgment, policy, objectives, and our company Code of Ethics. - When needed, complete cost estimates for requested change orders and other job site variations. - Continually build, develop, and grow relationships with customer base, vendor, subcontractor, and Project Management / field personnel.

Licenses & Certifications

• Must have a clean, valid drivers license

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
