Kymera International is seeking a Supervisor, Mechanical Maintenance to lead and coordinate maintenance activities for powder manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure at the RTP site.

The role supervises maintenance technicians, manages preventive and predictive programs, supports capital projects, and drives continuous improvement to maximize uptime and plant performance. Strong leadership and safety focus required.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices including LOTO, confined space, and hot work procedures.
• Experience in powder metallurgy or particulate manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, motors, instrumentation, and process controls.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Lead lockout/tagout (LOTO) compliance efforts.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical equipment failures.
• Schedule and prioritize daily maintenance activities.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to maintenance personnel.
• Review work-order backlog and establish maintenance priorities.
• Coordinate labor, parts, tools, permits, and equipment for planned maintenance.
• Oversee contractors ensuring safety, scope, quality and schedule alignment.
• Develop maintenance schedules to minimize production disruptions.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
