RJ Lee Group in United States is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician I to join our Powder Metals laboratory team. You will support preparation, characterization, and testing of metal powders and related materials using established lab methods and analytical techniques.

Responsibilities include sample prep, instrument operation, data collection, and maintaining equipment while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in materials-related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in materials science/metallurgy or related discipline preferred.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with sample preparation, materials characterization, or laboratory testing is a plus but not required.
• Experience with metal powders or additive manufacturing materials desirable.

Aufgaben

• Prepare powder metal samples for laboratory testing using established procedures.
• Perform grinding, sieving, blending, weighing, mounting, and other preparation techniques as required.
• Conduct routine physical and chemical testing of powder metals, alloys, raw materials, and manufactured products.
• Record, review, and organize analytical data in laboratory information systems and client reports.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Follow SOPs, quality assurance protocols, and laboratory safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work environment.
• Assist analysts, scientists, and project managers with testing projects and technical investigations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and laboratory safety.
