Job summary

Ice Industries Grenada is seeking a Paint Booth Technician to set up and operate powder coating and internal liquid coating equipment at our Grenada, MS facility. The role includes pre-shift setup, equipment maintenance, and ensuring proper film thickness and product quality through daily tests and documentation.

The ideal candidate has prior paint booth experience, the ability to follow instructions, and knowledge of safety PPE usage. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in paint booth operations or paint line work.
• Ability to understand or follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of safety equipment, work aids, and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate powder coating and internal liquid coating equipment.
• Perform pre-shift setup including cleaning injectors, hoses, guns, and related components.
• Maintain coating equipment and replace/repair parts as needed.
• Maintain coating levels and cleanliness of booths and related areas.
• Document film thickness and tests, adjust settings to meet specs.
• Identify and report mechanical or quality issues promptly.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
