Job summary

Hentzen Coatings is seeking a Powder Production Technician for the 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). You will sample, test, adjust, produce, and troubleshoot powder coatings while working with the Quality Control Department to ensure product integrity.

Responsibilities include operating and setting up production equipment, following batch tickets, weighing materials, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus.
• 1–12 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn equipment such as extruders and mills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment and adjust as needed.
• Set up machines according to setpoints and specs.
• Follow batch tickets to ensure quality; weigh ingredients accurately.
• Prepare and stage materials for batches; document batch data.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow housekeeping rules.
• Notify supervisor at designated stages of cleaning and inspection.
