Estron Chemical is seeking a Powder Coatings Formulation & Applications Manager to lead hands-on formulation development, performance evaluation, and technical problem solving for coating resins and additives. You will design powder coating formulations and develop testing protocols that demonstrate how materials perform—and what differentiates them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
• Eight years of powder coatings formulation and testing experience.
• Experience designing testing protocols for coatings.
• Ability to supervise personnel and lead technical projects.
• Strong communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and formulate powder coating formulations.
• Develop and document performance-testing protocols.
• Differentiate resin and additive performance through testing.
• Investigate customer issues and apply formulations to solve them.
• Prepare technical reports and guidance for customers and teams.
• Support customers and Sales in technical discussions.
• Lead applications personnel and manage priorities.
• Coordinate laboratory work and maintain records.
• Advance product development with cross-functional teams.
• Strengthen testing capabilities by evaluating industry methods.
• Maintain safe laboratory operations.
