Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as an industrial painter or powder coating technician.
• Ability to adjust spray settings and troubleshoot coating issues.
• Must follow Respirator Protection Program; wear PPE.
• Physically able to stand, lift up to 35 lbs.; tolerate warm temperatures.
• Detail-oriented with safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation & Setup: Clean and pre-treat parts; hang parts for spray coverage.
• Equipment Operation: Set up and operate powder guns, hoppers, and booth exhaust; maintain filters.
• Coating Application: Spray powder to meet customer specs and quality standards.
• Curing: Monitor ovens for proper finish setting.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for defects and address issues.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Keep areas clean; maintain equipment.
• Support Duties: Assist with other shop tasks as directed by Supervisor or Lead.
