Conair, a lead player within PiovanGroup, is seeking a Powder Coating Technician for its Franklin, PA plant. You will handle all facets of the powder coating process, ensure production schedule accuracy in SAP, and maintain quality and safety standards across coating operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of powder coating experience.
• Proficient in computer scheduling.
• Strong ability to recognize defects in applied products.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina: lift heavy items, stand/walk long periods.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the powder coating production schedule in SAP.
• Clean, degrease, and mask parts before coating.
• Organize loading/unloading of parts onto conveyors or racks.
• Manage color changes and prevent color contamination.
• Adjust air pressure, fluidization, and feed rates on coating equipment.
• Monitor oven temperatures for proper curing.
• Inspect finished components for quality using gauges and color-match tools.
• Maintain safety compliance and storage of hazardous materials.
• Organize and maintain inventory of powder for production schedule.
• Own the quality of coated parts and the coating process.
• Other duties as assigned.
