Job summary

NW Staffing Resources in Tualatin, OR is seeking a Powder Coating Technician to operate powder coating equipment and support the production of high-quality parts. The role offers a four-day workweek Mon-Thu, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, with a starting wage of $19 per hour.

You will set up and maintain equipment, inspect coated parts, perform basic maintenance, and help ensure safety and cleanliness on the paint line. Prior manufacturing experience and ability to read work orders in English are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience operating industrial painting or powder coating equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions in English.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain powder coating equipment and paint booth systems.
• Prepare, load, and unload parts on the paint line.
• Inspect parts for coating defects and ensure finished products meet quality standards.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report production or quality concerns.
• Track completed production counts and prepare finished parts for assembly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following established safety procedures.
