Job summary

C&C FABRICATION is seeking a Powder Coat Technician to support high-quality finishing and durable protective coatings for fabricated products in Alabama. The role involves preparing parts, applying powder coating, and ensuring finish quality from prep through final inspection.

You will work hands-on in a production environment, following established processes and safety protocols to maintain clean, organized work areas and consistent production output.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow job instructions, specifications, and work orders accurately.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and attention to detail for consistent part preparation and coating application.
• Comfort working in a hands-on industrial environment with exposure to coatings, fumes, and shop conditions (with required safety precautions).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or handle coated parts safely as needed.
• Strong commitment to safety practices and ability to work reliably in a team-based production setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for coating by performing cleaning, surface preparation, and masking as required by the job specification.
• Apply powder coating using established processes, ensuring correct application, coverage, and appearance.
• Maintain and monitor coating equipment and workstations to support consistent production output.
• Perform quality checks, including visual inspection and adherence to coating thickness/finish standards where applicable.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the coating area to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
