Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional powder coating experience in heavy industrial or fast-paced manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with a continuously moving conveyor belt system.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read basic manufacturing work orders.
• A self-starter who requires minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production schedule and customer specifications at the start of the shift.
• Visually inspect raw materials and pre-treated surfaces for proper preparation.
• Apply powder using electrostatic spray while matching conveyor speed and required mil thickness.
• Adjust spraying technique, distance, and angle to accommodate line pace.
• Perform rapid clean-outs between lines/colors to prevent cross-contamination.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment and diagnose minor electrostatic issues.
