TOMARCO CONTRACTOR SPECIALTIES LLP is seeking a Prep & Hanger Technician at our Las Vegas, NV facility. The role involves preparing metal parts for powder coating, loading and hanging parts, and maintaining quality through inspections.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic math skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or powder coating preferred.
• Able to read and follow work orders and production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, inspecting surfaces.
• Remove dirt, oil, grease, rust and contaminants using approved methods.
• Mask designated areas to meet customer and production specs.
• Load, hang, and secure parts onto production racks and conveyors.
• Unload finished products and move materials to staging areas.
• Stage materials and prepare work orders for powder coating operations.
• Perform visual inspections before and after coating for quality.
• Safely operate hand tools, grinders, sanders and other prep equipment.
• Assist powder coating personnel with production and workflow.
• Maintain production records and report quality concerns.
• Wear PPE and follow safety policies.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report incidents.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Support continuous improvement and team goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
