Job summary

Bimstore is seeking a production worker to operate the powder coating line and ensure coatings meet order specifications and AKG guidelines. You will follow detailed work instructions, prepare the line, manage powder levels, and inspect finished parts.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use a chain hoist, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Regular attendance and compliance with EMS policies are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to use basic computer programs.
• Read and understand detailed work order instructions.
• Use computer programs to retrieve information on the coolers if paperwork is incomplete.
• Must be able to operate a chain hoist to unload and lift coolers.
• Must perform duties safely and in compliance with EMS policies.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand detailed work order instructions.
• Use computer programs to retrieve information on the coolers if paperwork is incomplete.
• Manually or with a chain hoist, unload coolers from the skid and hang them on the paint line.
• Check powder levels in the powder coating machine and add more if necessary.
• Manually or with a chain hoist, lift the cooler off the paint line once finishing the process.
• Inspect the quality of the cooler after powder coating and touch up as needed.
• Add plugs or package the coolers if indicated on the work order instructions.
• Meet production quotas as directed by Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report issues to Supervisor or appropriate personnel immediately.
• Adhere to all policies and EMS requirements.
• Regular physical attendance is required.
