Qualifications

• Must manually spray product to customer specifications using the powder spray system.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Ability to stay in place for extended periods to keep production moving.
• Track paint colors used and manage stock.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a uniform, high-quality powder finish on the product.
• Understand the principles of powder painting.
• Keep the department safe, clean, and organized.
• Locate and select the proper paint that is to be sprayed on particular parts (correct part#).
• Keep an accurate count of paint colors as it is used and put back into stock.
• Identify and troubleshoot finish problems.
• Clean out and replenish the paint filter in the spray booth.
• Wipe the collection booth down and prep for the next color.
• Be able to stay in place for extended periods to keep the product moving.
