Salt City Metal Coatings is looking for a Powder Coating Painter to join our team in Southern Utah. This is a great opportunity for someone who is physically fit, enjoys working with others, and is dedicated to arriving on time every day.

General Description: As a Powder Coating Painter, you will apply paint to metal parts, ensuring quality and efficiency in your work.

35-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays

Starting pay of $16/hr, higher with prior painting experience

Overtime compensated at time and a half

Paid time off (PTO)

Responsibilities:

• Arrive at work on time every day
• Move racks of parts in and out of powder coating booth
• Read and follow work orders
• Load the correct powder and perform color changes with speed and accuracy
• Spray powder onto parts with precision
• Learn from other painters and contribute your ideas
• Wear personal protective equipment and follow all safety guidelines
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Assist in other departments as requested

Experience required:

• Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
• Clean shaven for wearing a respirator
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Able to work on feet all day
• Able to work in hot summer conditions
• Willing to work overtime and on Saturdays as needed
