Job summary

ebm-papst, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the planning, coordination, execution, and commissioning of a new powder coat painting line installation within a manufacturing facility.

You will act as the primary technical lead between equipment suppliers, contractors, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, EHS, and corporate management. Responsibilities include end-to-end project management, budget and schedule development, and coordination of multiple contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years managing capital equipment installation projects.
• Experience with industrial finishing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end powder coating line installation projects.
• Develop scope, objectives, budget, and schedules.
• Coordinate multiple contractors and vendors during installation.
• Review vendor proposals and approve equipment selections.
• Coordinate plant layout development and material flow optimization.
