Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Powdercoat Lab Technician to support daily quality control for the powdercoat line and coordinate preventive maintenance activities with the maintenance department.

You will perform QA checks on pre-treatment wash tanks, analyze data for trends, and report performance to management while ensuring customer standards are met and working closely with the Powdercoat Manager to resolve line issues.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years laboratory manufacturing and quality inspection experience with knowledge of titrations.
• Basic computer skills; Word and Excel are used in daily tasks
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and twist; regularly up to 75 lbs, occasionally up to 110 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and presentable workplace.
• Perform quality assurance checks on pre-treatment wash tanks and maintenance tasks.
• Establish and maintain performance metrics daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Analyze data for trends, take corrective action and report performance to management.
• Perform titrations and report generation with record retention.
• Ensure that customer performance requirements standards are met.
• Assist in controlling high quality finished product through inspection, analysis, and liaison to Quality and Maintenance.
• Work closely with the Powdercoat Manager to resolve line performance and quality problems.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor and management.
