The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in powder coating, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in powder coating.
• Experience in metal manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Knowledge of coating processes, equipment, and surface prep.
• Ability to inspect finished products for quality issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces for coating (cleaning, sanding, masking).
• Operate coating equipment and apply powders per specs.
• Set up and adjust equipment for different tasks.
• Inspect coated parts for coverage, finish, and color consistency.
• Identify and correct coating defects (runs, thin spots, uneven finishes).
• Hang and move parts on racks for curing.
• Follow schedules to meet daily quality/productivity targets.
• Maintain and clean coating equipment; report maintenance needs.
• Keep work area clean and comply with safety standards.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals.
