Job summary

Perennials and Sutherland, LLC is seeking a Powder Coater I for our Dallas facility. The role involves setting up and operating powder coating equipment, maintaining the coating system, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure continuous production.

Candidates should have powder coating experience, be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Powder coating experience required.
Familiar with the operation of the powder coating booth and equipment.
Good hand-eye coordination and ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods.
Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving ability.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain powder coating equipment according to production requirements.
Set and adjust equipment to ensure coverage and cure of powder coating.
Maintain system to ensure an uninterrupted production process.
Perform preventive maintenance per schedules.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to PPE guidelines; perform quality checks.
Stand for extended periods and assist with prep, sanding, and hanging parts as needed.
