Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in McKinney, TX is hiring an Associate Painter to support the powder coat operation on the 2nd shift. You will load and unload paint line products, inspect coatings, and ensure quality while following safety and procedures.

The role requires staying aware of wash titration levels, performing material checks, and assisting with other production tasks as needed. A high school diploma and basic math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Math reasoning and basic arithmetic for production tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, drawings and records.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of paint coating through visual and test methods.
• Check welded parts for porosity and defects during painting.
• Follow production schedule to ensure correct order of painting.
• Follow safety guidelines and complete paperwork according to procedures.
• Monitor wash system titration levels.
• Train on other equipment or processes as needed.
• Perform chemical and adhesion tests as required.
