Job summary

Nyhus Enterprises LLC in Chippewa Falls, WI is seeking a dependable Powder Coater to apply powder coatings to steel, aluminum, and cast parts per customer specs. Schedule is four days with overtime Fridays; pay ranges $20.00–$22.00 per hour with health, dental/vision, and benefits.

You will set up and operate coating equipment, coat parts, follow prints, and inspect finished work. Candidates should be able to lift 50–75 lbs and work 8–10 hours days.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, twist and perform repetitive tasks for 8–10 hours daily.
• Lift 50–75 pounds as needed.
• Read and understand work instructions and basic prints.
• Previous powder-coating or industrial painting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate powder coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth.
• Coat parts using a line-style manual track system.
• Follow work instructions, prints and customer specifications.
• Apply powder coatings evenly using electrostatic equipment.
• Hang and remove parts from the coating line.
• Inspect parts for coverage, finish and overall quality.
• Maintain booth and equipment and track powder usage by weight.

About this position

Nyhus Enterprises is seeking a dependable and motivated Powder Coater to join our team. This position is responsible for applying powder coatings to a variety of steel, aluminum, and cast parts while meeting company quality standards and customer specifications.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 6:00am – 4:30 pm or 11:00am - 9:30pm

Overtime: Opportunities for overtime on Fridays.

Hourly wage: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate powder-coating equipment, including powder guns, hoppers, and the powder booth
• Coat small and large manufactured parts using a line-style manual track system
• Follow work instructions, prints, and customer specifications
• Apply powder coatings evenly using electrostatic equipment
• Hang and remove parts from the coating line
• Verify that parts are properly masked before coating
• Inspect completed parts for coverage, finish, and overall quality
• Use a powder-thickness gauge when required
• Track and manage powder usage by weight
• Keep the powder-coating booth and surrounding work area clean
• Maintain powder-coating equipment in good working condition
• Ensure racks and hooks are cleaned as needed
• Confirm that necessary materials and supplies are available before beginning each job
