Job summary

MiTek Industries is hiring a Painter to prepare, coat, inspect, and process materials in finishing operations. You will ensure surfaces are properly prepared, coatings are applied with quality control, and parts pass inspection while maintaining production flow.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, surface cleaning, masking, curing, and liaising with supervisors on safety and production schedules. Prior finishing or paint experience is preferred; must follow PPE and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for coating.
• Apply liquid paint or powder coatings.
• Operate finishing equipment safely.
• Inspect coated parts for defects.
• Maintain production flow in finishing department.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Document work orders and production notes.
