Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in the United States is seeking a Powder Coat Technician I responsible for preparing substrates for powder coating, including hanging, washing, plugging, scrubbing, taping and sanding parts.

You will perform oven and wash bay procedures, operate forklift, report quality issues, pack parts, maintain a clean work area, and participate in safety and quality training. A high school diploma is required; 1+ years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, memos, and simple instructions.
• Knowledge of basic business math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Prepare substrates for powder coating (hanging, washing, plugging, scrubbing, taping, sanding).
• Perform oven and wash bay procedures, maintenance, and operations.
• Operate forklift and perform light maintenance.
• Report quality, process, equipment, and material issues to Supervisor.
• Pack parts for shipping without damaging them.
• Comply with safety regulations and participate in ongoing training.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and follow safety procedures.
• Perform quality inspections per documentation and control plan.
• Support site safety and quality standards and procedures.
• Meet attendance policy requirements.
• Assist in other areas as assigned.
